3 I Got Erection (Turbonegro cover)French-American drone-doom band Monarch have played a gig in my hometown Edinburgh in March, finally now I get to the point to make an upload of it. Bannermans is still theh fine little place where good underground bands play from time to time and on this occasion, Monarch really did a great job. If you into VERY slow drone then this is definitely for you! I did film the show but have no permission to share it, sorry. They are lovely guys (had a drink with them before the gig) but I got to keep my word, there must’ve been something on the visual side of the performance they didn’t like. The audio worked out just fine, didn’t have to touch it apart from the usual volume adjustment.
